Bosch boilers, particularly their condensing models, are known for strong efficiency ratings, compact wall-hung designs, and consistent modulation that adjusts output based on heating demand. They perform well in both baseboard and radiant systems, with good heat exchanger durability when properly maintained. Where Bosch units can run into issues is improper installation—especially incorrect sizing, poor piping layout, or inadequate system flushing—which leads to short cycling or premature wear. Shawn Whalen handles Bosch boiler installs and service work personally, making sure the unit is matched to the home’s heat loss, piped correctly, and fully commissioned.
