About Friedrich Furnaces
Friedrich furnaces, including models like the FR951V series, are built for high efficiency with AFUE ratings up to 95%, variable-speed blowers, and solid heat output in colder climates. They’re designed to run quieter than older single-stage units and maintain more consistent temperatures across the house. Build quality is generally reliable, especially with proper installation and airflow setup, but like many modern furnaces, performance depends heavily on correct sizing, duct integration, and setup at startup. Shawn Whalen handles Friedrich furnace installs and service directly, making sure gas pressure, airflow, and control settings are dialed in properly—not just “hooked up and turned on.” He also handles repairs and maintenance, including ignition issues, airflow restrictions, and control faults, which are common failure points if the system isn’t maintained.
