About LG Mini-Splits
LG mini-splits are known for solid efficiency ratings, quiet operation, and a wide range of single-zone and multi-zone configurations. Their inverter-driven compressors allow for consistent temperature control without the constant cycling you see in lower-end systems. LG units generally hold up well when installed correctly, but like most mini-splits, issues tend to show up in control boards, communication wiring, or condensate management if shortcuts are taken during installation. Shawn Whalen handles LG mini-split installs, repairs, and maintenance personally, making sure line sets are properly routed, units are sized correctly, and startup is done right. That attention to detail is what keeps these systems running the way they’re designed to.
