Triangle Tube boilers are known for their stainless steel heat exchangers and strong performance in condensing applications, especially in hydronic and radiant heating systems. Their Prestige line is widely used because it handles low return water temperatures well, which is critical for efficiency in radiant floor setups. Compared to some competitors, Triangle Tube units are straightforward to service and tend to hold up when installed and piped correctly, but like any high-efficiency boiler, they are sensitive to poor water quality and improper setup. I’ve installed and serviced a range of Triangle Tube boilers, and they perform reliably when the system is designed right from the start—proper primary/secondary piping, correct circulator sizing, and clean combustion setup. Where I see problems is usually tied to shortcuts during install, not the boiler itself. When I put one in, it’s set up to run efficiently and last, not just pass inspection.
