They’re not the most advanced in terms of controls or modulation compared to some newer high-efficiency brands, but they’re straightforward, serviceable, and built for longevity. Where these systems typically fail is poor near-boiler piping, incorrect sizing, or lack of maintenance—not the boiler itself. Shawn has hands-on experience installing and servicing Weil-McLain systems, including correcting improperly piped steam boilers and dialing in systems so they heat evenly without short cycling or noise issues.
